I want to show you a few tips and tricks that I use to avoid packing on extra pounds during all the holiday eating that goes on around our household.

One of the biggest things you can do to avoid packing on the pounds is to avoid the sugar heavy foods such as eggnog, pie, soda, candies etc.

there’s a lot of sugar hidden in cranberry sauces, fruit juices like orange juice, glazed ham or turkey, etc.

one of the biggest problems is that we all have become so accustomed to having her very sugar heavy foods around wearing the holiday seasons to become part of our American tradition, but if you want to maintain your weight and not pack on extra pounds this holiday season and you need to swap out your heavy sugar foods for some other healthy foods.

One of the best things you can do if you want to avoid packing on extra pounds this holiday season is to avoid the sugars. Try to keep your sugar intake to about 15 g per day you can. See, the problem is there’s so much information available to us to baby it magazines on the Internet and just other people giving us advice like friends and family when it comes to weight loss and getting sixpack abs.  It can get down right confusing.

What I see people doing is trying different techniques and different tricks to lose weight and they’re not following in overall strategy and then they don’t get the results they want and they think that nothing is going to work.

I can tell you right now the worst way to get rid of belly fat and that is doing situps and crunches.

If you have fat on your belly you can do as many situps, crunches, ab gadgets exercises as you would like but the fat is not going to come off.

The fat comes off when you have a nutrition and exercise program that supports lowering your overall body fat percentage.

There is no one specific stomach exercise for removing fat off your belly so please don’t buy into all the infomercials selling the latest and greatest ab machine.

Now, since you know the way to losing belly fat is by lowering your overall body fat percentage I’m going to show you how I lost 28 pounds of fat and got six pack abs.

  1. proper nutrition-eat foods allow you to build lean muscle and burn fat and cut out foods that turn straight to fat such as sugar, candy, pastries, white pasta, white bread, etc.

  2. use weight training-to build lean muscle mass. The more lean muscle mass you have on your body the better because it will allow your body to burn fat innkeeper metabolism running strong throughout the day.
  3. Use cardiovascular exercise-such as running turbocharger fat loss. I don’t care what anyone tells you it was not until I  added running to my exercise program that I saw the fat really start to come off. Now I’m not telling you that running is the only way to burn fat but it is probably the most convenient and easy us to do. I will say that there are many other great exercises to give you a good  cardiovascular/fat burning exercise but I found running to be the best

How to get rid of belly fat?

This is probably the most commonly asked question that I get on a daily basis when it comes to fat loss and getting a flat stomach.

The truth is that there’s a lot of bad information on TV and the Internet when it comes to getting rid of your belly fat.

If you watch TV at all probably seen all of the commercials promoting some kind of ab chair, better set up device, or just some strange looking ab gadgets for getting sixpack abs.

Another thing that you’ve probably noticed is that they always have some really ripped fitness model using or demonstrating the machine that’s being promoted. I don’t care for this because what it’s doing is it implies that the fitness model promoting the machine or gadget got their physique and abs by using the device being sold.

The truth is that these fitness models did not likely get their physique or ripped sixpack abs by using the machine that they’re promoting. The reason you see that fitness model on TV is because he or she promotes the image that you and I want in smart marketers use this to their advantage, it’s called implied credibility. Whether using the physique of the model to show you what you want the end result of getting sixpack abs and they show the model using the ab device or gadget to make you believe that they got that physique by using the device being sold.

I would like to put an end to all the bad information being promoted on television and on the Internet about losing belly fat.

You don’t lose belly fat by doing abdominal specific exercises such as crunches, or sit ups.

In order to get rid of belly fat you must follow a fitness and nutrition program that allows you to reduce the overall fat on your body. You can do is many situps or crunches as you want but if you have a fat tummy or belly you will never see your abs by doing these exercises.

There are three Main components to the right program for getting rid of belly fat.

  1. proper nutrition-eat foods that help build lean muscle and burn fat and cut out foods that turn straight to fat such as sugar, white bread, soda’s, pasta, pastries, doughnuts, hi sugar fruit juices, candy etc.
  2. use weight training-to build lean muscle mass and keep your metabolism going throughout the day
  3. use cardiovascular exercise-such as running to use your fat for energy hence burning the fat off your body

using these three components you’ll be able to lower your overall body fat percentage and men when your body fat percentage is in the 8 to 10% range you’ll start to see your abdominal muscles and women when your body fat percentage is in the 16 to 18% range you’ll see your abdominal muscles.

Summary:

In order to get rid of belly fat you must lower your overall body fat percentage to the appropriate range and you don’t lose belly fat by doing situps and crunches.
